Since...

I have been shooting pictures all my life of my family, friends, scenery and sports but have only been shooting extreme sport pictures seriously since February 2006.

Why Photography?

I love taking pictures and have always been interested in extreme sports. When I broke my ankle I couldn't surf, bike or skate so I decided to take photos instead. I also like photography because lots of people say I am good at it and give me loads of good feedback on my photos, this makes me feel good and makes me want to carry on.

My Pictures

I like my pictures to be different, not just for them to be about the skater or biker but to be in a nice setting, I want them to have an edge.

I mostly take pictures in colour but I love black and white photos. Quite alot of the time I will edit them on my computer to make them either black and white or to enhance the colour.

My Camera

At the moment I am using a Kodak Easyshare CX7430 Zoom Digital Camera with a 128mb Lexar memory card.

I prefer to take pictures with a digital camera as it is quick and easy. I can look straight away at the shot that I have just taken and when I get home they go straight onto my computer and good ones onto my website.

Where?

Everywhere and anywhere really although there has to be something good to take a shot of. I take alot of my pictures in skateparks of people biking and skating. I also take pictures just ina street where someone is doing something that looks good.

My Opinion

Although I love photgraphy it isnt just a case of hold and click. All of my pcitures dont just hapen at a push of a button but tend to take a couple of attemps and planning. I have to be commited and cannot just choose when to go out with my camera. I have to make sure I will be with the right people at the right time and place. To make sure of this, alot of the time I tend to head out with a group of friends.
